About The Role

Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, who are proudly part of the Benefact Group, are looking for an Underwriting Admin Support to join our Dublin office, with hybrid working.

In this role, you will assist the Underwriting team with renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustment processing of commercial insurance policies. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career within a dynamic and fast passed insurance business.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in renewal, new business and mid term adjustment processing in line with current processes and underwriting strategy and guidelines, including underwriting of fast track renewals and schemes policies
  • Perform other admin duties to include but not limited to – switchboard, photocopying, scanning and lodging cheques, following up on survey requirements, post duties, visitor management, catering requests and travel
  • Input data accurately and efficiently, recognising and rectifying where quality standards have been missed
  • Plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs
  • Identify issues and anomalies and escalate in line with company policy
  • Act on audit results and agreed actions plans to improve own performance and enhance the effectiveness of the team
  • Build effective internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and support Ecclesiastical’s right first time approach

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum APA Qualified (preferred and willing to study to achieve CIP)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Appropriate IT skills (will be tested)
  • Customer service experience
