Mission

As a Program Management Officer (PMO) for our Sustainability Office, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of sustainability projects within our organization.


Main responsibilities

Sustainability governance:

  • Develop and maintain sustainability program governance frameworks, including terms of references, and planning.
  • Monitor progress by workstream, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.



Sustainability project planning and coordination:

  • Collaborate with divisions project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines,milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings and ensure alignment of project objectives with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project dependencies and ensure effective communication across project teams.
  • Track project performance against established metrics and report on progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize and set-up agendas and minutes for the sustainability governance committees.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects and identify potential bottlenecks or conflicts.
  • Provide recommendations for resource optimization and reallocation as needed.
  • Monitor allocated budget

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain close relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders
  • Prepare with the Head of Sustainability the agenda and presentations for the Sustainability steering
    committees.
  • Act as a point of contact for issue resolution and escalation, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and decision logs.
  • Consolidate and analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of executive-level presentations and reports.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrate Sustainability knowledge and appetite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.


    Education

    • Education: Bachelor Degree
    • Certification: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field

    Experience
    • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
    • Experience required: Proven experience as a Program Management Officer (PMO) or in a similar role.
    • Experience in private banking: Optional

    • English: Fluent
    • French: Fluent
