Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for strategy to achieve growth objectives; sets direction for product marketing plans to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies 
  • Responsible for influencing the Global Product Teams to shape the product portfolio and new product pipeline to include the needs of the regional markets, from product features to value proposition 
  • Work with Medical Affairs to align on clinical focus areas and events, and develop collect published evidence to support the company’s value proposition 
  • Develop communication plan and lead campaigns execution across regions, training tools / collateral 
  • Provide training to sales and marketing teams to deliver value proposition 
  • Collaborating with in-country team to understand market needs and shape marketing initiatives
  • Collaborating with in-country team to execute tactics and track KPIs to achieve the sales and marketing objectives of the Cardinal health respective portfolio for the region 
  • Develop business cases to win support for product development or commercial initiatives
  • Understanding customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought and prioritizing customer segments and business opportunities to lead needs-based segmentation 
  • Driving the use of market research to identify opportunities and clinical trends, integrate competitive intelligence into marketing planning by assessing competitor portfolios and growth strategies 
  • Identifying external resources/ strategic partners to contribute to integrated customer solutions 
  • Develop Professional Education strategy and implement the appropriate activities 
  • Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers in the health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community to drive market shaping activities 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 8-10 years of relevant Healthcare Marketing experience (preferred in medical devices; Nutrition/Enteralfeeding Product knowledge will be considered a plus) working in matrixed multinational organization corresponding with cross functional stakeholders
  • Possess knowledge and skills in product management, brand management, and marketing communication
  • The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle communication across levels of various internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter: ability to learn quickly, take lead, and work in dynamic work environment while taking ownership
  • Results focused – deliver results by adopting flexible, innovative, and compliant approach
  • Shows sense of urgency and is assertive
  • Must have proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
  • Travel required (25%)
