About The Opportunity
Jacobs are looking for an engaging, customer centric, solution focussed, rising star with hands on, practical Information Management experience to lead the project information requirements for our high-profile Life Science Clients. We have an enviable reputation in Life Sciences with our clients across Europe and are committed to being a Digitally Enabled Business. The opportunity is to lead information management within our Life Science business by being the lead representative for the development of information management policies and work instructions and their implementation across the portfolio of projects being managed by our Ireland offices. The Lead Information Manager will work alongside the BIM team and shall have the follow responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team supporting information management across our LifeScience portfolio
- Shall be jointly responsible for reviewing and updating the procedures that govern the management of information across Life Science (LS) projects.
- Shall be jointly responsible for developing new procedures to govern the management of information for LS projects, where required.
- Shall be jointly responsible for defining the information management strategy for LS projects and developing a standardised approach to the use of digital document sharing platforms.
- Shall be jointly responsible for ensuring that the necessary guidance documentation /training material is available for preferred platforms.
- Shall be jointly responsible for establishing an audit programme for management of information across projects and ensuring regular quality checks are being conducted.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- Recognised University qualification, degree level preferable.
- ISO 19650 certification or equivalent is preferable.
Experience
- Solid experience working in an information management role.
- A good understanding of ISO 27001 – Information Security Management is preferrable.
- A good understanding of ISO 55000 & 55001 – Asset Management is preferrable.
- Relevant delivery experience working in the Engineering and/or construction industry is preferrable.
- Experience with multiple electronic document management systems is preferrable, for example BlueBeam, Sharepoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, EIDA etc.
