With self-service devices to help airports facilitate the need for easy flow management, SmartPath™, with just a quick scan of the face, allows passengers to easily validate their identity along the entire passenger journey without having to pull out their passports or boarding passes.

Biometrics has fast become a leading capability for airport self-service passenger processing opportunities around the world. As measured by number of passenger processing touchpoints in operation, SITA is the market leader with large scale production deployments across our four geographies. We have a strong order book and an exciting technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads the designing, planning, and implementation of solutions that ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across servers, networks, and related utilities and hardware that comprise the cloud infrastructure, building in continuous process improvement and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understand the DevOps pipelines and contribute to the infrastructure/deployment scripts (Terraform, Helm Charts,…)
• Interface with Developers, Engineers, Architects, Ops and Support staff to architect, design, develop and implement cost effective Cloud Solutions using IaaS/PaaS/SaaS so that it is flexible, extensible, elastic, secure and reliable at large scale.
• Assist Technical writer with product documentation (Installation, customization, backup, and troubleshooting information)
  
  
  

Experience

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience
  
  
  

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS is a must.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, BASH, PowerShell) is a must.
• Experience with Azure and its IaaS/PaaS/SaaS offerings (e.g., SQL, AD) is desirable.
• Experience with AzDo pipelines, Azure CLI and Python is desirable.
• Experience with VMWare is desirable.
• Experience with Dynatrace is desirable.
• Knowledge of networking concepts is desirable.
• Strong communications and documentation skills
  
  
  

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline related to job description.
