As one of our engineers is enbracing another project into our Group, we are now looking for a professional eager to join our Engineering Team in Varisco, Atlas Copco Padova

As Project Engineer you’ll be part of R&D team with the goal to support the further development of our projects in according to national and international legislations and to our corporate guidelines and requirements.

Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.


In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • CAD design and creation of all the drawings necessary for the construction of production prototypes
  • Support feasibility studies of new project, gathering accurate information
  • Draft critical detailse lay-out and design in order to build a functional prototype
  • Update drawnings, lists and related documents as a result of changes
  • Follow the development of the prototype and the results of the tests in order to verify their adherence to the technical specifications
  • Production support during the start-up phase
  • Create documents related to the release in production
  • Support in the drafting of the machines manuals
  • Maintenance of drawings, bills of materials and related documents following updates or changes that have occurred


What we expect from our candidates:

  • Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering or similar, specialization in hydraulic would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of Pump is a must
  • Experience in designing, castings and machining
  • Experience using CFX simulation software, CAD, Solidworks or similar software
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
  • Proactive and able to successfully work in a team
  • Fluent in Italian and good command of English is essential (both spoken and written)”
