British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineering Manager in Trieste.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading PM Pillar; AM Pillar co-lead
• Ensuring all factory equipment is captured and properly maintained as part of SAP Planned Maintenance (PM),
• Synchronizing Maintenance programme with Spare parts purchases,
• Optimization of spares parts level and providing reports on spares consumption and breakdowns,
• Leading process improvements,
• Ensuring healthy level of subassemblies for both Secondary Manufacturing and Primary Manufacturing Departments.
• Developing Production equipment standards and ensuring technology standardization across all lines (automation, vision cameras) and developing in-house electronics/automation capabilities,
• Coordinating systems upgrades including Digital Platform microstops/performance management and MES.

What are we looking for?

• College/University degree in Engineering/Technical/Scientific areas or Technical High School.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of IWS, especially AM and PM pillars. Formal qualification in at least some DMSes (CIL, DH, CL, IE, BDE, MPS) is expected.
• Fluent English as role entails representing factory on regional meetings of PM and CoEs.
• Ability to work with data, information, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with structured problem tools, such as, IPS, UPS and 6W2H
• IWS skills Demonstrate the ability to perform the IWS tools, methodology and daily management system as Line Lead and able to share with other
• Fluent English
