In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new

Business Process Improvement Manager (m/w/d).

We are the central team for Operational Procurement (external procurement), and we are responsible for performance management and continuous improvement. We are actually looking for a Performance and Improvement Manager (m/w/d) who will take the lead on the improvement of the business processes we follow in our Department (EDS), in Marignane and in Dönauworth.

You will support the increase of the level of process maturity in our Department, by improving the ways of working and methodologies, and deploying them to our community. You’ll be our focal point to help functions to stick to the official processes, to harmonize their business processes, with the aim to simplify their daily activities. You’ll also be our main team representative on Donauwörth site.

Your main tasks:

  • Collect the needs (operational and managerial needs) for process improvement
  • Define & ensure the roadmap sticking in accordance with our Departement Strategy, validate the prioritization with operational and management representatives
  • Follow up the budget dedicated to our process pool
  • Distribute and follow up the subcontracted activities
  • Analyse the non-performance root causes and benchmark other entities ways of working, propose an efficient and harmonized process, deploy it and measure the process adherence, deliver the methodological support documentations
  • Actively promote the best practices and support the operational teams in their improvement plan
  • Create and animate awareness sessions in collaboration with our training pool
  • Participate to Airbus Operations transversal projects as Process focal point
  • Be our team relay on Donauwörth site, to lead the change conduct and support our messages spreading

Examples:

  • Define our 2025 roadmap on Data Quality improvement in the frame of Methods & Tools project, lead our department process improvement for this topic, push for other departments process improvement in the aim of a positive impact for us (stock / cost / missing parts reduction, simplification increase)
  • Revise the raw material support to supplier process, deploy your improvement proposal in our department

Qualification:

  • Educated to a University degree in the area of Procurement, Economics or comparable
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement
  • Proven experience in project management (tools, methods, reporting, communication, change of conduct) and business / process improvement
  • Excellent knowledge in manufacturing techniques and processes
  • Good MS Office / Google Suite skills
  • You are rigourous, autonomous, curious, you have a methodological approach and you like to take initiatives
  • Hands on mentality
  • You like to share your knowledge, to are pedagogic and you know how to animate workshops, with a real capacity to align
  • You are able to manage several projects in parallel and you want to work in a transversal mode
  • International experience and team spirit
  • Very good communication and conflict resolution skills
  • English required, German will be a “plus”
