About The Role And Team
The Professional Practices Team (PPT) Assistant will assist the PPT Manager to in identifying and developing enhancement opportunities within the wider GIA department. They will also be responsible for developing or enhancing existing scheduling and documentation tools in order to better support the requirements of the department. They will also assist PPT in the GIA quarterly and annual reporting process; and support the administration of GIA systems.
Your Role
- Report directly to the PPT Manager and maintains good relationships with GIA Business Partners (BPs) and internal auditor staff;
- Identify opportunities of internal process enhancements and develops efficient technical solutions for the broader GIA team to utilize
- Support the quarterly and annual reporting to Management and the various Committees to whom the function reports;
- Assist in the development of data analytic tools to assist auditors in their client engagements. Assists in developing and delivering/coordinating technical training across the function for any solutions which have been developed.
About You
- Currently studying in a technical developer or programming field
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of desktop tools. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Proficiency in programming languages is also a pre-requisite. E.g. React, Python, SQL and DB Programming. Any exposure to analytics tools such as ACL, PowerBI etc also desirable
- Diplomatic but with the necessary tenacity to complete the task
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Team player who can work well within the Internal Audit function to deliver a quality service
- Creative and innovative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
- Willingness to take on responsibility and to work on own initiative and are reliable
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
