Role Description This is a volunteer role on the Board of Directors or Committees for People First Credit Union. The role will involve attending 1-3 meetings a month in the evenings. The role will involve participating in regular hybrid meetings to discuss the direction and strategic vision of the organization. This is a hybrid role, with some meetings on location in Portlaoise as well as some remote work. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Understanding of financial services and commitment to ethical business practices Experience in a non-profit or volunteer organization is a plus Ability to attend regular meetings and commit the necessary time Understanding of the Credit Union sector and current regulation is an added advantage
