Your role and responsibilities

ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel. In this role, you will be reporting to HR Operations Manager and ensuring that the framework, governance and metrics are in place for executing strategy and HR priorities across the business in partnership with GBS HR, corporate HR and business team. You will be conveying holistic end-to-end view on HR processes with clarity on roles and responsibilities and analyzing challenges, identifying and communicating clear and simple solutions within a complex and changing environment. You will be accountable for: •Providing people and organizational KPIs and ensuring the correctness of data along with initiating corrections, if needed. Analyzing challenges and providing findings and advice, based on data. •Identifying and communicating simple solutions to the internal stakeholders. •Helping business teams for understanding the current HR processes and tools and how to translate the business demand into HR practices/activities. Identifying needs for knowledge sharing in HR teams (in Business and in GBS). •Ensuring delivery to agreed standards and targets. •Acting as GDPR HR champion in the business. •Supporting in development projects and facilitating continuous improvement activities for HR in the business. •Involvement as operational interface for Workday implementation. •Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

  • Master or Bachelor of science in Economics / Finance / Administration / Information Management / Engineering or similar.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in HR / or cross-functional with international exposure.
  • Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end HR processes, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • At ease with numbers and strong analytics assessment capabilities/expertise and understanding of business drivers and how to best leverage HR.
  • Good communicator with influencing skills.
  • Project Management competence, service minded and problem solver.
  • Results focused, and actions oriented, with strong attention to detail and ability to see the big picture, while taking ownership of actions.
  • Proficiency with all HR and IT applications, L6S yellow/green belt highly regarded.
