Our client is seeking a VAT Compliance Analyst to join a collabative and growing Tax department on a 6-month contract on a hybrid wking model in Dublin. Join a team of adaptive tax professionals passionate about operational excellence and strategic, compliant tax planning.

Responsibilities:
Compile and analyze data required f global VAT/GST returns and associated filings.
Prepare monthly VAT reconciliations of ITX returns to General Ledger (GL).
Liaise with ITX service providers, providing monthly data and responding to queries.
Conduct initial review of filings prepared by service providers.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of ITX returns and payments.
Review Accounts Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR), and Intercompany transactions, identifying and following up on errs exceptions.
Codinate with internal teams f payments, refunds, and err crections.
Participate in the month-end process, including posting journals in Wkday Financials.
Suppt with Tax Authities queries and audits.
Collabate with GL and Tax teams.
Assist with ad hoc ITX projects.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
3+ years’ experience gained in a global ITX environment
University degree in business, finance, accounting similar qualification
Good understanding of accounting and its implications on VAT
Some knowledge of VAT law and indirect taxes
Wking knowledge in MS – Office, Excel
Motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Skilled communicat who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced Tax department based in Dublin and enjoys collabating with colleagues possessing diverse talents and backgrounds
