What Is The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Balance Sheet Liquidity Return Senior Manager, the successful candidate will lead the delivery of SRB (Single Resolution Board) Reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our core reporting teams.

You will be responsible for the delivery of key SRB reports, MREL, LDR, EBA CIR, CFR, within agreed timelines including responsibility for the coordination of end-to-end submission of SRB data tapes to the SRB VDR and ongoing maintenance of the process.

This is an 18-month contract opportunity

In the role you will

  • Deliver the following returns:
  • Liabilities Data Report (LDR);
  • EBA Commission Implementing Regulation (EBA CIR);
  • Minimum Required Eligible Liabilities and Own Funds (MREL);
  • Critical Functions Return (CFR);
  • SRB data tape coordination
  • Oversight of all activities involved in submitting SRB data set including sign-off.
  • Analysis and communication of SRB requirements to SRB reporting stakeholders.
  • Support the Head of Resolution planning for communications between SRB and the Group (e.g. in terms of changing requirements).
  • Work with Resolution Planning team to understand any new requirements from the SRB and implement change with Finance Technology and Data teams.
  • Manage risks across SRB reporting processes including maintaining an effective control framework, ensuring deliverables have appropriate controls, governance, documentation and adhere to relevant Group policies and standards, including ensuring.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within Liquidity Reporting processes, focusing on operational efficiency, creating organisational synergies and leveraging the Group's investment in technology.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Group Treasury, Bank of Ireland Global Markets, Bank of Ireland (UK) plc etc. to ensure awareness of funding strategies and/or initiatives for liquidity reporting purposes.
  • Initiate SRB Reporting process improvement and support wider RRCO/Group Finance/Group Treasury strategic projects and ad-hoc Regulatory requests.


What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Strong communication skills and adept at establishing professional credibility at all levels within the business and across the Group.
  • Experience of interpreting financial information to support/ enable strategic business decisions.
  • Ability to understand, identify and influence the key drivers of the business.
  • Detailed understanding of resolution planning, Basel III/CRD, BRRD and the wider regulatory environment.
  • Excellent experience at delivering to tight reporting timeframes!
  • Ability to challenge constructively current processes and norms and provide objective insight and solutions to problems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) with a good working knowledge of VBA highly desirable.
  • Brilliant data manipulation & analysis skills and techniques.


Essential Qualifications

Hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) or have extensive experience gained through wide exposure to financial practices within a relevant business environment

Have at least 2-3 years Regulatory Reporting/SRB Reporting/Treasury experience, ideally within a Banking environment;

More About The Team

The Regulatory Reporting, Controls and Operations (RRCO) team sits within the Group Financial Control (GFC) function within Group Finance. RRCO is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of supervisory and statistical regulatory reports, for multiple licensed entities, to multiple regulators in a controlled, timely and efficient manner. It is also accountable for the delivery of non-routine regulatory requests and the development of new regulatory reporting requirements.

We work closely with partners across the Group to ensure that there is a continued focus on delivering a culture of service excellence, developing our people and supporting the achievement of the Group's strategic priorities.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Baggot Plaza, Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
