As the Regulatory Manager, you will have responsibility for reviewing regulations and guidelines as well as internal polices and methodologies to support the Regulatory Reporting function meet its reporting obligations for compliance with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI), European Banking Authority (EBA) and Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) rules and regulations. You will also be responsible for working with internal partners to ensure the regulatory reporting teams implements and complies in good time with requirements as they fall due. As part of role you will manage regulatory reporting change to ensure reporting requirements are documented, communicated, understood and implemented in regulatory reporting systems and processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the compilation, review and submission of specific liquidity reports to the regulatory authorities in relation to new business and regulation changes
  • Document and communicate to internal stakeholders new regulatory reporting changes
  • Ensure new business and regulation requirements are automated in regulatory reporting systems
  • Manage, mentor and develop the team
  • Systematically review all Prudential, Statistical and Liquidity returns within the Regulatory Reporting function for compliance with CBI, EBA and SSM rules and regulations and methodologies
  • Assess impact of new regulations and guidance relevant to the returns and work with internal partners to ensure the Bank complies in good time and subject to appropriate governance with all such requirements as they fall due
  • Provide support for completing ad hoc returns for the Regulatory Authorities on time and subject to appropriate levels of governance
  • Represent the Regulatory Reporting team at various stakeholder meetings
  • Coordinator for Business continuity management



Requirements
Essential

  • Accountancy qualification
  • Banking and regulatory experience
  • Experience interpreting Banking Regulations e.g. CRR
  • Capable of managing the compilation and submission of reporting to exacting standards
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to work to exacting timelines
  • Strong record of engaging across functions to get things done


Desired

  • Experience interpreting and implementing Banking Regulations.
  • Change management
