The Madrid based Vendor Coverage team of Group Audit (GA) undertakes professional audit work in accordance with the GA’s methodology to provide audit coverage of Deutsche Bank’s external vendor portfolio.

As such, it works in a cooperative manner with all other teams across the function as they all receive external vendor services and in particular with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) team responsible for the coverage related to Procurement, Third Party Management (TPM) and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). The team members onsite work independently and flexible in the way they approach their work.

  • Pro-actively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the business and respective support areas and work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally.
  • Develop and maintain broad regulatory knowledge & experience specifically regarding outsourcing, which is a highly regulated area in various jurisdictions. Stay abreast of business/industry changes and their effect on the department’s audit plan, methodology and risk assessments.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science or related discipline or other relevant qualification.
  • Basic understanding of the banking risk and control environment, and the regulatory environment specific to the management of outsourcings.
  • Some experience in the delivery of audit related assignments (ideally in complex financial services environments or respective Auditor role) as well as data management and/or analysis/review of processes.
  • A willingness to accept responsibility, a high level of personal integrity and an eye for detail without losing the big picture.
