Description

Group COO is a vast and key division of the Bank, headed up by the group Chief Operating Officer, covering several departments supporting the client facing teams. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and reliably. The division comprises Operations, Finance, Credit Structuring and Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, General Services (real estate, travel and logistics), Security and Data Governance as well as Change Management & Controls. All department heads report into the group COO.


Mission

Deliver and maintain execution platforms serving transverse business and technical streams and to manage internal and external file transfer. Members use their expertise to define, validate and integrate technical solutions suitable for the business need


Main responsibilities

Technical scope :

  • ETL: Talend
  • Reporting: SAP Business Object (Install, Conf, Upgrade, Patching), Power BI (creation)
  • FTP: Client/Server (windows, unix)
  • PESIT: Axway CFT (unix)
  • MQ series / BUS ACE: administration, install, conf, deployment, error management
  • DevOps: Ansible, SVN/Git, Artifactory, Azure TFS, Common Role
  • Security : SSL/TLS, Kerberos/SSO, LDAP
  • Vulnerabilities : Hardening, security fixes, patching
  • Java: JVM conf, security, hardening
  • Technical foundation: Tomcat, Jboss, Apache HTTPD, IIS
  • Documentation: WIKI sharepoint, Confluence
  • Scripting : Powershell, python, DOS batch, Unix Shell, Yaml
  • ITIL: change and incident management (BMC Remedy)
  • Automation, Resilience: OpenShift, Kubernetes


Required:

  • Good communication: with the middleware manager, other team members and application and business teams
  • Decision-making and initiative: continuous improvement
  • Automation of manual processes
  • Documentation, support for IT Change teams
  • Reactive and available: incidents, call-outs, weekend changes, etc.
  • Respect for existing procedures and security (we're heavily challenged on this)
  • Report critical information: incidents, MDs on projects (insufficient or missing numbers)
  • E-learning training + test: phishing, ransomware, malware

Experience

  • Years of experience: +10 : senior
  • Experience required: a similar experience in Middleware Experience in private banking: Optional
