Manager Consumables 80-100%

Your contribution 
In this challenging and important role you are responsible to lead the Consumables production line setups, lead strategic projects and to drive Tecan’s consumables sustainability initiative portfolio.  

Lead Consumables production line setups 
•    Coordinate internal & external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within budget
•    Provide insights in technology & industry trends
•    Drive long-term CAPEX planning

Strategic projects
•    Lead projects to evolve the consumables business internally 
•    Prepare decision basis for senior management meetings (Management Board, Bord of Directors)
•    Ensure stakeholder alignment across R&D, QARA, finance, and commercial divisions
•    Support and drive ad-hoc & long-term analysis through use of Excel / SAP 

Sustainability
•    Drive Tecan’s consumables sustainability initiative portfolio by building and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio view 
•    Implement product portfolio changes in alignment with product portfolio owners, platform owners, R&D, QARA, and commercial functions
•    Coordinate the Consumables
•    Willing to travel and visit suppliers 20-30%

Your background

•    Completed BSc in STEM a must. Further education such as MSc in STEM or related business areas a nice to have
•    Proficiency in excel 
•    Experience leading cross-functional projects incl. budget responsibility 
•    Fluent German and English language skills are a must
