Your role

  • Assist in the delivery of the NDC platform, including NDC Offer and Order Management including user Account management, private dealing facilities and cost recovery.
  • Meet business KPIs to track NDC commercial delivery in line with set targets.
  • Follow business processes for managing NDC on delivery.
  • Coordinate the agency and GDS integrations, key for commercial success.
  • Ensure successful running of NDC by monitoring performance KPIs.
  • Investigate technical issues using internal Aer Lingus systems including our passenger service system.
  • Work closely with the technical and commercial teams to ensure that any queries or issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Engage in upgrade work as new digital products are onboarded.

Your Qualifications And Key Criteria

To be considered for the role of Junior NDC Specialist candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • 3rd level qualification in Business / Commerce or relevant work experience.
  • Strong commercial focus with a clear understanding of Aer Lingus’ commercial and customer position.
  • Strong understanding of the airline digital and distribution environment and its evolution.
  • Experience of working with delivery teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
  • Strong commercial and strategic awareness - can identify, size and explain a business opportunity.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong organisational and project management skills, a problem solver.
  • A convincing and influential communicator. Bright, quick thinking and selfconfident.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with experience in developing KPI reports, dashboards and analytics.
  • Ability to analyse problems, to probe facts, identify and question assumptions and to assist in the decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Provide 2 Verifiable references.
  • Be in possession or be able to obtain an airside security pass.

  • If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries
