About the role
This opportunity is open only to candidates who are currently enrolled in studies. Proof of enrollment will be required.
Material scheduling role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of goods. The Material Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the timely and efficient flow of materials to support production and meet customer demand. This role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials throughout the supply chain, with a focus on minimizing costs, maximizing efficiency and managing inventory
Key Responsibilities
Mission #1: Control tower
- Implement a dynamic tool to meet business need to retrieve stock on hand easily and quickly, located in different areas, in pallet and in GBP, per type (components, chemicals etc.) and per status (regular, no mover, slow mover, expired etc.) with historical data carried out and considering on going ESCAPE, P1, projects, discontinuation, derisking etc.
- Support the decision making (vs storage cost)
- Improve a tool to project stock, in pallet and in GBP, per type
- Reduce and simplify existing manual reports (inventory of pallets/GBP, stock at risk, NPD, SS check, expired report, blocked stock, projected stock etc.)
- Improve waste management:
- Stock ready for destruction report to be available for production and project teams at any time
- Assess components MOQ vs finished product MOQ vs bulk campaign (Lamisil, Zovirax focus)
- Assess old printed in production and FEFO respect / root cause analysis and
associated CAPA
- Map and improve inbound flow into the different warehouses (internal and external) with workload assessment (incl. safety risks)
- Close work with a team member on the warehouse strategy deployment for better
inventory management and with Logistics departmenet
- Implement KPI to be able to assess Nyon inventory vs target and be able to identify where a gap is, if any
Mission #2: Boundaries of Artwork
- Power BI E2E data deployment at Nyon (like other internal sites) with PLM team
- Reduce and simplify manual reports (cross charge reconciliation, near bom switch alert / vs prod plan, prod at risk etc.) / assessment of need to gather data from disconnected systems (SAP-ESCAPE-CHAMPS)
- Define and deploy internal (cross functional teams) golden rules and way of working/operation rhythm
- Define and communicate with global team market golden rules
- Map and improve the product of end life (discontinuation) process
- Implement KPI to be able to assess E2E performance of Nyon and be able to identify where a gap is, if any
Qualifications and skills Essential
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
- Interest for Supply Chain topics
- Methodological experience and/or interest
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and material planning software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset
