What would your role be?
- Oversee and manage the bank's capital, liquidity, and funding planning on a group-wide level.
- Responsible for Asset Liability Management (ALM) of the private clients business.
- Implement and manage firm-wide funds transfer pricing.
- Manage liquidity risk and funding to ensure the bank's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies for capital management to optimize the bank's financial performance.
- Oversee hedge accounting processes to minimize risk and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the banking book bond portfolio, including buying and selling bonds, to maximize returns and minimize risk.
- Develop and implement Treasury policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior management to align Treasury activities with the bank's strategic goals.
- Monitor and manage financial market risks that could impact the bank's financial position.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders including participating at the Group's ALCO.
- Stay updated on latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Treasury management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Treasury team to ensure high performance and employee satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all financial regulations.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision making at the executive level to ensure the company's financial success.
What are we looking for?
- A Master degree in Economics, Finance or a related quantitative field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Treasury management, preferably in an investment banking environment.
- Demonstrated experience in programming as well as IT project leadership
- Proven experience in managing capital, liquidity, and funding.
- Strong knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) and funds transfer pricing.
- Expertise in capital management and hedge accounting.
- Experience in managing a banking book bond portfolio.
- Strong understanding of financial market, asset pricing and risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
