Julius Baer is currently embarking into a large multiyear and global core banking transformation program (ROC) with the goal to globally harmonize the core business operating model and the underlying core platform technology stack. As part of the program leadership team, we are looking for a highly motivated and senior professional with the responsibility to lead all test activities globally. This senior leadership role holds the following responsibilities:

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Responsible for the definition of the ROC program test strategy, concepts and execution plans globally across multiple locations (predominantly Zurich and Singapore)
• Responsible for overarching test management plan and execution across multiple projects and locations, including the coverage of all test stages and test types until final Go-/NoGo decision
• Definition of clear roles & responsibilities for all test activities across the program and the relevant projects within ROC
• Managing other non-ROC initiatives in Julius Bär regarding their roles & responsibilities to ensure proper F2B testing of defined target state
• Definition and implementation of a comprehensive test governance framework, covering the whole lifecycle across test planning, definition of test cases, test execution, defect management, test reporting and tool support
• Definition of acceptance criteria for F2B user acceptance test as base for final Go/NoGo decision
• Definition of test data concept and provisioning of data relevant for F2B testing on program level in close collaboration with the environment management stream
• Close collaboration with other functions in the program governance (e.g. release management, environment, integration, migration) to ensure alignment of testing activities with other plans
• Close collaboration with projects within ROC and non-ROC initiatives to ensure alignment of required activities according to overall test strategy and plan
• Establishment of transparent test progress reporting structure and status update across all involved projects in ROC and non-ROC initiatives
• Orchestration and management of F2B test activities on ROC program level
• Oversight of the test activities on the project level in ROC and within other non-ROC initiatives in Julius Bär
• Identification and management of risks and impediments associated with testing and development of mitigation actions together with accountable stakeholder and program management
• Represent test management to program management and overarching governance bodies (e.g. STC)

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong expertise in test management (from strategy to execution) combined with good understanding of delivery of complex transformation programs
• Strong financial services background, preferably in private banking
• Strong leadership capabilities with leading a global team across multiple projects
• Proven track-record in test management in complex transformation programs in a rapidly changing, international environment across functional and organizational boundaries
• Deep knowledge in testing activities across all levels on IT as well as on business side
• Structured, innovative, and goal-oriented personality with outstanding analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills
• Change advocate able to foster collaboration, promote consensus, broker decisions, and positively influence outcomes
• Strong communicator with excellent leadership skills
• Master of Business Administration / Engineering or comparable postgraduate-level degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Business fluent in written and spoken English. German speaking a benefit but not a must
• Willingness to travel
• Based in Switzerland
