We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architecture Analyst to join our Data Architecture team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data architectures that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skill set that includes data migration, data modelling, and relational database management systems.

As a Data Architecture Analyst, your role is to drive and deliver on the Data Architecture needs of the organisation - helping the organisation understand its data assets, developing software systems, and the relationships between real-world entities; data engineering, integration and interoperability; data retrieval, data governance and master data management. In this role you will be collaborating and coordinating with business process owners, technical owners, partners, and external vendors. You will be a key delivery partner and bring a superior and innovative approach to solution delivery


Responsibilities:

  • Investigate enterprise data requirements where there is some complexity and ambiguity.
  • Plan and deliver data modelling and design activities, selecting appropriate techniques and the correct level of detail for meeting objectives.
  • Design and develop complex data architectures that support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work with database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes
  • Contributes to Bank's data architecture and vision, data design, visualization and security / data privacy.
  • Map data sources into a common integrated data model, showing key data entities and relationships and create inventory of the data needed to implement the data architecture vision
  • Provide advice on the transformation of data from one format/medium to another. Guide data migration and data integration from legacy systems to new solutions



Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant data architecture experience with know-how in enterprise class data engineering platforms and architecture e.g. Teradata Vantage, Snowflake etc
  • Relevant 3rd Level qualification (Degree, Masters) in a related field (Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Technology) Excellent knowledge of data architecture concepts and technologies
  • Confident across the Data Architecture, Data design - highly skilled in Data Engineering, Data Analysis and Database technologies Keeps up to date with the latest techniques, technologies and trends
  • Understanding of Data Modelling and Governance processes
  • Skilled in determining the optimal data methodologies and technologies to use to solve the problem/opportunity at hand
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate complex information and problems in a simplified manner
  • Excellent documentation, report writing & presentation skills



This is a Permanent role based in Permanent TSB's Dublin/Cork/Hybrid.
