Credit Administration Officer to support International Mortgages and Swiss Corporate team within Credit Department. Credit Administration Officer is in charge of the preparation/amendment of the credit documentation (i.e. loan agreements, deed of pledge, mortgage deeds) in support of Commercial and Mortgage credits for standard and non-standard transactions; the role implies liaising with all internal (i.e. Client Relationship Officer, Credit Analyst, Legal Department, AML, compliance) and external (i.e. notaries, solicitors) relevant stakeholders. Credit Administration Officer uploads/updates the credit limits in the booking system of the Bank and, during the life of the loans, is also responsible for their maintenance (i.e. increase/decrease/extension of maturity/early redemption/cancellation).

Main responsibilities

  • Credit Administration Officer who is able to work independently on standard and complex residential and commercial mortgage transactions as well as cash flow based loans to corporate in the Swiss region.
  • Handling and writing of credit documentation (for standard and non-standard credits) including discussion with internal/external relevant stakeholders;
  • Collection and archiving of recommendations from the respective credit authority level tracking/ following up on appropriate risk-mitigating actions / conditions together with credit relevant documentation provided by the clients (balance sheets, business models, cash-flows projections);
  • Provide technical advice and being a sparring partner to the Credit Analysts to facilitate sustainable growth, aligned with the Group’s risk appetite and credit policy.
  • Coordinate specific initiatives and provide support to the teams (e.g. specific taskforce).
  • Review credit policies/procedures/internal guidelines.

Skills And Experience

  • Education in banking, finance or equivalent, bachelor’s degree would be preferable.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in Credit Risk Management.
  • Fluent in English (and preferably also in German); French would be a valuable plus.
  • Good command of the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong team player.
