Job Purpose:
As a business and strategy analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic initiatives that align with our company's growth and innovation objectives. With a strong preference for candidates with a background in consulting or life sciences, this role requires analytical acumen, industry insight, and a consultative mindset to address complex challenges and identify high-impact opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct detailed analyses of internal and external data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Present findings to senior leadership, with recommendations for implementation.
- Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to gather insights, validate strategies, and drive alignment on key initiatives. Facilitate workshops and discussions to gain buy-in and foster collaboration.
- Project Management: Lead or support strategic projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and effective resource utilization. Develop project roadmaps, set KPIs, and track performance to ensure alignment with overall goals.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive positioning. Translate insights into actionable recommendations that support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or a related field, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, or technology sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, with experience using tools like Excel, PowerBI, or similar platforms for reporting and visualization. Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and data insights to a wide range of audiences. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic alignment.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in solving complex business challenges through innovative and data-driven approaches. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, including experience in meeting timelines and achieving strategic objectives.
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTEL) and operational methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
