Maven TM provides high-quality lead generation services for B2B technology & medical companies. Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our client's Marketing and Sales teams.
About the Job:
We are actively searching for a motivated and professional individual to become a valued member of our team at Maven TM. As Business Development Representative, you will have a pivotal role in generating leads for our clients based in the United States. Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients using provided lists.
- Introduce our client’s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition.
- Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to identify their needs and qualify their interest.
- Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team to further discuss potential solutions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and outcomes in a CRM system.
- Meet or exceed assigned targets for calls made, leads generated, and conversion rates.
- Continuously improve product knowledge to confidently address client inquiries and objections.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine calling strategies and optimise lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Proven experience in cold calling or telemarketing, preferably in a sales-driven environment. Knowledge of the transport and logistics industry would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Persuasive and persistent with the ability to handle objections and rejection positively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively prioritise and manage call volumes.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to navigate and update customer records (Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot).
- Proficient in using standard office software and comfortable with learning new technologies.
- Fluency in the English language required (both written and spoken).
- Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.
