PXF Corporate content team enables Amazon employees to easily find and access high-quality and authoritative content through a personalized search experience and manage their HR documents throughout their employment lifecycle. Our centralized solutions streamline HR processes and knowledge management across Amazon, empowering HR partner teams and administrators to eliminate manual work, scale their operations, and provide a seamless and efficient document and content management experience that supports the needs of both employees and the business.
As a Senior Software Development manager you will report to the Director of PXF Corp Content Services. You will manage the software development teams that own the Amazon’s Enterprise Search experience. As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in managing a multi-discipline team of software engineers, technical program managers, and their managers. You will be responsible for building your team strategy and growing your organization. You will have a proven track record of shipping complex software solutions through an agile methodology. You will have the ability to dive deep into the understanding of problems in order to help your team make the right technical decisions. You will have a proven track record of managing through others and developing the career of your direct reports. You will be a strong communicator and will have proven abilities in managing through ambiguous situations and communicating to VP level.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
