We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Software Engineering Team Lead.

You will lead the team taking full care and ownership of the Smartbox partner management system, helping the team plan and deliver their commitments and improve the delivery process.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work with the Development team and stakeholders to plan and deliver changes to one of our core applications
• Work with other team/leads to coordinate and ensure delivery of complex changes
• Analyse and propose improvements to the team processes, including SDLC including deployment/automation and implementation of Agile practices
• Work with the broader team (Product Owner, QA) to implement suggested improvements
• Work with the manager to protect and improve the team happiness
• Contribute to the development of software changes

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent, relevant experience
• Experience working within and solid practical understanding of Agile practices and their implementation/use (Kanban / Scrum)
• Good understanding of SDLC for engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
• Ability to manage and communicate around multiple priorities

Advantageous:

• Previous experience leading software engineering teams
• Scrum Master / Agile Coach experience, Agile certifications
