My client is a growing, innovative medical laboratory testing company based in Tallaght. They are actively looking for a Senior Medical Scientist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in Microbiology.

The Ideal Candidate

• Are you registered with CORU?
• Do you have a qualification in Microbiology Science?
• Do you have 2+years' experience in a Medical Laboratory?
• Attention to detail is a key skill
• Have you a history of working in line with ISO 15189 requirements?
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process samples from receipt, through to reporting and storage, in line with laboratory and quality management processes.
• Work in accordance with laboratory SOPs and ensure high levels of quality and standards in the laboratory area.
• Key responsibilities are likely to include receiving/accessioning and testing the samples with appropriate controls; troubleshooting and reporting of patient results via the LIMS.
• Conducting root cause analysis of errors and corrective actions for non-conformance's.
• Follow all Health and Safety legislation
