As a member of the ZGEBS Actuarial Team, you will be involved in a range of actuarial topics relating to the management of the Zurich Group life reinsurance portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of actuarial work, interact closely with other functions and add value to the business.

What You Will Do

• Actuarial reporting for life reinsurance (primarily IFRS 17)
• Improvements to the regular reporting processes
• Actuarial assumption setting
• Drive improvements to data quality
• Performance monitoring of the life reinsurance portfolio
• Supporting the underwriting and pricing functions
  
  

What You Bring

• Partially or newly qualified actuary (e.g. SAV, DAV, SOA, FIA).
• Strong analytic/numerate background.
• Ideally 3+ years’ work experience gained in life insurance or reinsurance.
• Experience with valuation and/or pricing of life and disability protection products
• Good understanding of key financial reporting standards (particularly IFRS 17)
• Strong data management and programming skills (R, VBA, Excel)
• Ability to work independently and a curious and proactive approach towards business issues and improvements
• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic international environment
• Good communication skills in English
