The Regional Demand Planning Manager is responsible for proposing, analyzing, challenging and aligning markets’ Demand Plan up to its sign-off. He prepares the regional demand plans in aligning with the markets’ organizations and brand organizations and global Supply Chain. He maintains the regional demand plans in ANAPLAN for global consolidation in agreement with the Regional Supply Chain Head. He supports the markets and region in the execution of the Demand plan and the roll-out of projects. He is a transformation agent of the E2ESC and the digitalization journey.

The Regional Demand Planner will establish & maintain communication flow with Market stakeholders to ensure that the demand is consistent and balanced with supply to meet customer requirements in line with overall global business strategy and financial targets.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Owns, prepares and facilitates the Markets’ demand plan process up to the Demand Plan sign-off by the markets’ representatives
  • Involves markets’ Sales and Marketing, Finance and Operations teams and ensures their accountability in the Demand Planning process

  • Completes Local & Regional demand reviews (based on Anaplan), based on the ANAPLAN platform and AI generated forecast to predict future demand trends
  • Steers the forecast accuracy as the main kpi of the Demand Planning process and applies corrective action plan
  • Reconciles forecast variance analysis with business trends up to sku levels and recommends progress plans to the organization
  • Reviews the Demand planning outcome with the Global team for consolidation
  • Provides with operational guidance to the markets’ stakeholders in the different S&OP process steps to secure accountability and ownership of the process
  • Leads regular Market S&OE meetings and Co-leads the Regional S&OE meeting to guarantee the execution of the Demand Plan

  • Closely monitors supply issues (e.g. Backorders, allocations and bottlenecks) in collaboration with Global Supply Network planning, communicate re-supply dates and impacts to the Markets
  • Co-Designs/builds processes & solutions at the best cost/performance including definition of data quality, key process control needs, performance measurement and so on.


Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or Business administration. A postgraduate certificate in a supply chain management discipline is preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in supply chain, especially in S&O and forecasting field. AI based Demand Plan is preferred

  • APICS Certification (current certification with CPIM or CSCP)

  • Digital mindset and knowledge in emerging digital technologies (e.g. AI, IoT, Blockchain etc.) is an asset

  • Expertise in Microsoft suite

  • Fluent in English, Spanish is an asset

  • Travel time in EMEA region: 30%.
