An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Associate to join our clients Dispute Resolution & Litigation Group.

The successful candidate will become part of a group which provides a supportive culture, continued training and development and hybrid working arrangements.

The Role
The Group acts for a broad spectrum of clients, particularly those in the corporate and financial sectors. With significant large-scale legal and technological resources, the group is a leader in enabling the fast-tracking of complex commercial disputes through Ireland’s Commercial Courts.

Responsibilities will include:
Advising on all aspects of contentious commercial matters in a variety of sectors, both advisory and in a range of forums such as civil proceedings, inquiries, regulatory investigations and other ADR processes.
Preparation for and involvement in complex trials, some involving jury hearings.
Developing and advising on strategies to achieve client objectives and manage risk.
Using analytical and research skills to formulate legal arguments and identify evidence.
Negotiating to achieve client objectives.
Advising on and coordinating large scale discovery and other document review exercises.
Participating in the business development and knowledge management activities of the group.

The Person

Qualified Solicitor in Ireland or the UK with 1-4 years post qualification experience in Litigation, Investigations and Dispute Resolution.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making.
Proven communication and analytical skills with a high degree of commercial awareness.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A strong interest in maintaining, developing and sharing relevant legal knowledge.
Experience of remote and/or physical court hearings.
