The Opportunity

OpenText Global Services intends to have a long-lasting relationship with our key-customers and be their preferred services partner. This should result in a jointly defined project in close cooperation with these key accounts. You will become familiar with the complete business and technical environment in which each of their customers uses our software and then become the point of contact from the customer and stakeholders, in order to ensure the highest level of service, to the customer.

You Are Great At

  • Working directly with the Product Owner & the development team
  • Development of bespoke applications & web solutions to meet customer needs, mostly on Intranet platforms using VueJS, SharePoint REST APIs, JavaScript
  • Implementation of new Branding on Intranet platforms using CSS pre-processors, SASS and LESS
  • Design and implement development workflow. Coding, testing and implementing solutions in Intranet & SharePoint environments
  • Supporting new accounts for the Intranet as a Service as they arise.
  • Ensuring our codebase is clean, scalable and secure
  • Responsible for the translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual front-end code for a stellar user experience
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimisation of web site for maximum speed and scalability on all devices
  • Provide support in the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to testing and post implementation
  • Adhere to all applicable IT development standards, including coding, testing and change control standards.
  • Ensure code is compliant with latest accessibility guidelines. e.g. WCAG 2.1.

What It Takes

  • Degree qualified in IT related discipline
  • C# - proficient
  • Experience in one or more JavaScript libraries/frameworks like Vue or Angular
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of Azure and SQL
  • Ability to work to Strict Deadlines
  • Strong relevant technical experience
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Version control systems such as GIT or SVN
  • Experience with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
  • REST APIS
  • Experience with a Nodejs build environment. e.g. Webpack, Babel, Gulp/Grunt
