As Growth Manager at Upway, you will be a key driver in accelerating customer acquisition and fueling revenue growth. You will leverage market insights, competitor analysis, pricing, categories, product and inventory strategies to optimize our growth trajectory, brand positioning and conversion rates. Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy:
- Build and maintain detailed views and analysis on the full customer funnel, to allow for daily/weekly/monthly tracking of demand drivers and quick understanding of their trajectory
- Monitor and analyze growth metrics, translating insights into actionable strategies to exceed customer acquisition targets.
- Own the entire user lifecycle management process, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation strategies, driving growth of our user base.
- Advise partner teams to unlock new business opportunities and growth across your market.
- Promo budget management & optimisation
- Manage a 6-digit promo budget, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
- Design and execute incentive strategies, maintaining a keen analytical approach to balance growth with profitability.
- Define a promo calendar, according to the business needs and targets.
- Define each campaign’s budget, structure, objectives, success criteria
- Develop in-depth analysis on efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns and extract actionable conclusions including optimisation opportunities
- Pricing & Conversion Optimization:
- Analyze customer behavior and feedback to optimize the purchasing journey and maximize conversion rates.
- Drive continuous improvement of our pricing model and decision making through market, inventory and competitive analysis
- Working closely with sales, product and ops teams to enhance affordability perception.
- Category Management:
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competition.
- Identify opportunities for category growth or improvement.
- Work with content teams to create compelling product content and ensure products are effectively displayed online
- Analyze and manage category performance, including revenue, profitability, and market share
- Coordinate with the sourcing team to ensure the category has the right inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
- Customer Segmentation & Insights:
- Use consumer segmentation techniques and targeted offers to engage users at the right time with the right messages to boost revenue and drive demand.
- Analyze customer feedback and behavior to improve loyalty and referral strategy.
- Design experiments and A/B tests to refine strategies and optimize performance.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities to grow.
- Perform competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify areas to improve our inventory.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong academic background
- 3+ years of professional work experience in a related field such as operations, marketing analytics, consulting, banking or analytics.
- Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers and making data-driven decisions
- SQL proficiency (or ability to learn it fast as it’s part of the day to day of the role)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Strong business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
- Ability to foster a culture of bold experimentation—test, learn, and iterate rapidly
- You are a native German speaker, and good English speaker
