An exciting opportunity to join Ireland’s leading independent manufacturer of concrete and bituminous construction materials. We currently have a number of vacancies for Construction Materials Field Technicians based in the Greater Dublin area.

These roles are open to both internal and external candidates, and while some experience of sampling and testing of materials would be an advantage, full on the job in-house training will be provided.

A typical working day involves visiting both company locations and customer sites in the designated region, site support of concrete pours, sampling concrete from trucks, carrying out consistence testing and making concrete cube specimens as well as sampling constituent materials. Materials such as aggregates, concrete blocks, asphalt etc are also sampled and samples are transported back to in-house testing facilities. Quality assurance checks and audits are conducted both at company locations and customer sites.

You must be willing and able to carry out physical work associated with sampling, transporting and testing of bulky materials. Excellent written and record keeping abilities are required as well as being confident in using I.T. equipment and software.

The roles are full-time permanent positions based on a 39-hour working week typically 07:00 to 15:30 daily, however a high degree of flexibility will be required with regard to start and finish times. Overtime will be required as dictated by daily business needs.

A full driving licence valid in Ireland is required for the role and the successful candidate will be provided with a company van.
