About The Role

Base Location: Belfast, Dublin, Perth, Glasgow, or Reading

Salary: £29,200 – £43,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for someone with expert knowledge and application of MS Office 365 to provide support and other specialist services to the Group Compliance team. As Compliance and Reporting Specialist, you will develop, maintain, and support the ongoing operation of various Microsoft Office 365 systems and applications used to facilitate compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements across SSE. In this key role you will:

  • Maintain SSE's rules repository and the rule change notification process.
  • Develop MS Office 365 solutions (particularly in Sharepoint and Power BI), to facilitate the digitisation of knowledge, data governance and compliance controls, and train staff in the use of these solutions.
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Group Compliance, Business Assurance, Regulation, Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Company Secretarial to ensure that reports are accurate, timely and well-presented.
  • Provide administrative and digital training services as required.
  • Produce high quality team communications via a number of platforms.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Advanced skills in Office 365, including Sharepoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and experience of developing user friendly digital solutions using O365 applications. Experience of using Power Apps would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working within a successful support function, ideally within Compliance, General Counsel, Regulation, Information Management, or similar.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement.
