Position Description
Customer Solutions wishes to appoint a SME Marketing Specialist responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to grow and develop Electric Ireland’s business markets with particular focus on SME’s and Groups. This role is key to developing our overall Business marketing strategy, as well as ensuring the implementation of marketing plans to deliver consistent market-leading standards for brand, customer experience and sales excellence across the segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement an All-Ireland marketing strategy and rollout quarterly marketing plans to achieve commercial growth targets for the SME and Groups Market.
- Develop customer centric briefs using customer insights and segment analysis to produce high performing marketing plans in collaboration with the Business Markets Team and their key stakeholders. Brief the marketing communications team for implementation. Work with the business markets team and the insights team to adopt a truly customer centric approach across brands, products, services and customer experiences across the segment.
- Manage and co-ordinate B2B events and sponsorships.
- Collaborate with business product/market experts to develop go to market strategies for new products and services.
- Develop and manage a stakeholder plan for business markets including PR, event management and corporate entertainment for customers, relevant media, stakeholders and key influencers.
- Manage all messaging and content for customer touch points such as websites, online platforms, emails, letters, and customer communications.
- Monitor and report on the marketing activity of Electric Ireland’s business competitors on an All-Ireland basis.
- Manage and report on marketing KPI’s to maximise the return on marketing budgets to deliver brand awareness, customer sign ups and retention and product promotion.
- Manage the Business Marketing budget control and reporting.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with advertising standards, customer codes of practice, regulation, GDPR and Brand Guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the B2B Marketing team to ensure best practice in B2B marketing and leverage synergies and actively contribute to the wider Marketing and Customer Insights team.
Essential
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience.
- B2B Marketing experience ( with a focus on SME is preferable).
- Product marketing experience.
- The ability to multitask and capable of working on own initiative.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable leading and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to deliver projects within time and budget.
Desirable
- Experience in lifecycle marketing by email, in-product, content marketing, digital marketing and other owned/ earned channels.
Qualifications
Essential
- Third level qualification in a business/marketing related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Location
Swift Square, Santry mainly but attendance in ESB’s Head Office in Fitzwilliam Street Dublin will be required at times.

Salary
€54,000- €64,000 per annum.
