About the Role:
The role will work as part of the programme team to drive platform improvement ensuring work is prioritised and captured in a single plan. You will support engineering, product and external facing business teams to ensure solutions are designed, developed, and delivered on time
You will work closely with our tech support team to help our users resolve technical issues and ensure platform performance. Developing, maintaining, reviewing and communicating project plans and related progress are core aspects of the role. This will involve leading project review meetings and working with technical, business and solutions teams to plan and deliver improvements for external partners.
Key Duties:
- Deliver solutions within project constraints
- Formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects
- Drive development process to ship product on time
- Understand and review requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- Assign and have oversight of the daily tasks of the tech team while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones
- Facilitate communication and negotiation within the team
- Maintain the project schedule and report project status
- Drive and manage risk assessment and risk management
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
- Work with tech support team to understand critical bugs and issues and understand and coordinate their management and resolution
- Work cross functionally to schedule work to ensure an efficient a smooth change programme
- Support business and solutions teams in developing trials and expansions with partners. Support in the delivery of external change management plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in a Project Management role
- Professional, accredited project management certification preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Some experience with a technical project or working with technical platforms is required.
- Some knowledge of working with agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills along with experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Excellent interpersonal skills required particularly the ability to gain alignment and cooperation with colleagues to negotiate and deliver a mutually beneficial plan
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in delivering change both within an organisation and as part of an external service or product
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Calm and level headed with the ability to predict challenges and proactively resolve obstacles before they arise
