Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Compliance professional, to join our Corporate Compliance team, covering our custodian/depositary businesses in Ireland. Reporting to the Heads of Compliance, the role will require the management of the Advisory interaction with the business, management of the Core Compliance Risk Assessment, acting as deputy for the PCF 12 and driving the monitoring and testing teams as derived from the Core Compliance Risk Assessments of the legal entity SSCSIL. The individual will also interact with the Shared Services Compliance team on issues impacting all the legal entities (SSCSIL, SSFSIL and SSIIL). The role is classified as a CF2 under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity regime (CF2), hence candidates must comply with the relevant requirements regarding fitness and probity.
This role may be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Office locations are Dublin, Naas, Drogheda and Kilkenny.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As Compliance Manager, Vice President you will:
- Manage the Core Compliance Risk Assessment for the legal entity, coordinating and interacting with the Business, the Testing team and the Shared Compliance team to ensure the capture and rating of the appropriate risks for the legal entity.
- Preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting of the Compliance Risk Opinion for the executive, committee and board meetings.
- Manage Central Bank of Ireland queries and correspondence; liaise with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate responses to CBI queries in a timely manner.
- Monitoring key regulatory changes, ensuring regulatory inventory is kept up to date.
- Provide Advisory Compliance support to the Business.
- Interact with the wider Compliance teams (EMEA) to ensure a consistent approach to Compliance is being adopted across the Irish legal entities.
- Act as deputy to the PCF 12 role in order to maintain Succession planning requirements
- Manage resources reporting directly into the position

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business related area, or relevant professional experience
- Prior experience ( about 10 years’) in financial services industry an advantage
- ACOI Diploma in Compliance or similar Compliance, legal or regulatory qualification an advantage
