Position: Risk Consulting - Conduct Risk

Grade: Positions available at Manager / Associate Director level

Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.

Contract type: Permanent

Our conduct risk, consumer protection and accountability team are market leaders when it comes to advising our clients on conduct and consumer related topics within the Financial Services market. Conduct related issues are sector agnostic and we are expanding into the non-FS market and emerging markets across the globe where the concept of conduct risk and consumer protection is immature. We are looking to expand our team and are particularly interested in candidates with conduct risk, consumer protection, governance, accountability, risk culture experience.

A Snapshot Of Your Peer Group

  • Our professionals in Risk Consulting have a diversified educational background including Law, Economics, Business and further certifications such as CFA.
  • Our management group have previous Consulting experience prior to joining KPMG, both from other Big 4 firms and smaller Consulting firms. They are experienced at leading teams and managing multiple pieces of work / projects concurrently.
  • Our management/leadership team have also a broad range of knowledge and understanding on wider commercial, business, and economic issues, and are excellent at multi-tasking and prioritising conflicting priorities.


Years Of Experience Required

  • Manager – at least 5 years of experience
  • Associate Director – at least 7.5 years of experience including prior Consulting experience, ideally from a similar professional services organisation.


Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

  • You will be expected to take a lead role in developing proposals, thought leadership, engagement delivery and go-to market solutions for our conduct risk team.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and lead the delivery of high-quality consulting advice in Conduct Risk and service to those clients (within the FS and non FS space).
  • Lead and develop production of thought leadership, proposals and go-to market solutions.
  • Support Consulting Directors / Managing Directors / Partners in delivery of market activities. Support Solution and Competency development considering innovative approaches to be able to design and execute propositions to support client challenges and issues.
  • Design approaches, plan and manage the execution of successful engagements.
  • Support activity to maximise revenue, deepen client relationships, reputation and added value at clients.
  • Manage and lead multiple teams across diverse engagements. Act as performance manager to more junior employees.
  • Be accountable for quality outcomes for client and in line with internal standards and requirements.
