In order to strengthen our Vehicle Dynamics engineering team, we are looking to hire an ADAS Controls Specialist based in Maranello (Italy).
The target of the ADAS Controls Area is to develop, to validate and to innovate the performance of the ADAS systems, in order to propose the best solutions to achieve the performance objectives.
The ADAS Controls Specialist will operate within the ADAS Controls Area, which has the primary objective to define the target setting, to analyze the target deployment and to ensure the target achievement of the performance, at a vehicle level, of all the driving assistance control systems.
For this role we are looking for a Specialist who will support the team specifically for:
- Ensure the definition of the target setting of all the ADAS systems
- Ensure the analysis of the deployment of all the targets specified
- Ensure the target achievement of the performance by means of tests on vehicles and on driving Simulator
- Ensure the integration with other software of Vehicle Dynamics
- Support innovation
ADAS Controls Specialist includes:
- Relationship to stakeholders (internals, external partners and suppliers)
- Design of control logic about ADAS control systems
- Development of new and innovative ADAS control systems
- Join test on demo cars and/or development cars
- Driving simulator tests
- Benchmarking on main competitors
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. You should ideally have gained at least 2 years’ dedicated experience in ADAS systems. Strong software knowledge is required to manage the activities (Canape, Canalyzer, Matlab – Simulink).
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, team working ability and flexibility are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.
Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
