Accounts Payable

My client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team based in Cork City. This company is one of the largest and trusted Insurance brokers in Ireland looking after 100,000 customers nationwide. Duties:

• Dealing with a high volume of monthly premium payments to insurance companies
• Liaising with Client Executives & insurance companies to resolve account queries
• Processing & issuing refund cheques
• Daily control of bank lodgements
• Insurer ledger reconciliation
• Sending lapsed papers to insurance companies
• Scanning statements and insurance payments on a monthly basis
• Reconciling daily lodgements and lodging monies to bank (twice a week)
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Good communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
• Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
