Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions is our Product Center for the Industrial Internet of Things. We are an ambitious company with a comprehensive portfolio driving IIoT-related products, solutions, and services in the wide-ranging product portfolio of the Endress+Hauser Group. We seek an experienced Test System Engineer to drive the integration for all of our product’s portfolio within a specifically designed automated control system.
Roles + Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the integration of our tools in a specific Distributed Control System (DCS)
- You will be responsible for the testing process, ensuring the integration of our field devices with their drivers into various control systems
- You optimize the test processes through sensible test strategies and test automation
- You will be in constant communication with various system manufacturers to make sure of the best integration of our devices
- You will participate in internal standardization committees, ensuring that the perspective of the control system view is considered
Qualification + Profile
- Degree in a technical area (e.g. Informatics, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience with the commissioning of field devices in DCS or PLC System
- Experience with the development of automated testing with C#, testing methods, and test management
- Previous knowledge of any automated test framework (e.g. Ranorex), Gitlab CI, and Mobile Testing will be an advantage
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies (Kanban)
- Possess an analytical and structured approach in solving the problems
- High level of communication and social skills, team player, and a strong sense of assertiveness
- You speak good English and German
