About the role

The SG&A Specialist will be the Finance Business Partner and will support and enable the SG&A Finance workstreams.

What you’ll do in the role

SG&A

  • Working with the budget holders, develop the zero-based budget and understand key variances to the prior year. Load to Hyperion.
  • Working with the budget holders, develop the quarterly forecast and understand key variances to the budget. Load to Hyperion.
  • In collaboration with Accounts Payable, determine necessary accruals.
  • Prepare monthly variance reports to understand differences vs budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Prepare T&E reporting by sales associate and sales leader.

Support Budget Holders monthly

  • Prepare and distribute cost center reports to relevant cost center managers.
  • Ensure freeze is respected.
  • Highlight any risk of over/under spending.
  • Communicate authorized budget to CC Owners.
  • Support accounting department on month end reconciliation, analysis and corrections.

Reporting & Insights

  • Support the preparation of the monthly reporting package for SG&A per segment per region where necessary.
  • Support corporate quarterly business reviews preparation.

Adhoc Support

  • Work on cross-functional business teams to support key initiatives.
  • Support testing of new systems.
  • Continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain data integrity

What will help you do the job well

Essential:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar position preferably in an international company
  • Bachelor or equivalent
  • MS Office proficiency (advanced xls knowledge, Powerpoint), Hyperion, Power BI is a plus
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and reporting, mix analysis
  • Hyperion knowledge (planning / reporting)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
  • Excitement about joining a midsize yet growing company with fast-growing brands!

Nice to have:

  • Business Intelligence system would be an asset
