Senior IT System/Cloud Engineer

Männedorf, Zurich

Your contribution 
As the ‘Senior IT Systems / Cloud Engineer” you ensure business continuity and opportunities by providing infrastructure project commitment and enabling new value streams while continuously improving and developing our infrastructure landscape and 3rd level support to resolve problems, to satisfy business and user requests with high end-user satisfaction. You are a strong contributor shaping our future infrastructure roadmap with a cloud first strategy and transfer know-how and expertise to team members and global IT Service Delivery. Within the scope of this role, your tasks include:

•    Developing, implementing, automating, and managing Active Directories (mainly), IAM, and clouds (Azure mainly) related solutions
•    Developing, implementing, migrating and/or integrating various local or global IT and access management solutions based on the best practices and technologies under directive cloud first
•    Responsibility for optimisation, reliability, improvement, and automation of the global IT landscape
•    Leading and supporting various infrastructure projects to drive continuous improvement of IT infrastructure
•    Documenting and transferring specialized IT related know-how within infrastructure area and to global IT team
•    Providing 3rd level support ensuring quality, reliability, and end-user satisfaction

Your background

•    Minimum of six years’ experience in IT
•    University degree in a related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences aligned to Microsoft, Active Directory and/or IAM engineering best practices.
•    Certifications : Azure/ Clouds, Microsoft certifications
•    Further certifications are a plus: Cisco CCNA / SISE, Security
•    Strong automation (PS), M365 and IT security experience
•    LAN/WAN administration
•    Strong AZURE experience
•    DNS, DHCP, ADFS, AAD, FW, PKI, MS SQL
•    Team player, analytical and conceptual thinker – strategic as well as pragmatic
•    Strong project management skills
•    Fluent in English. German is a plus.
