At our site in Cham we are looking to recruit an

Senior Accountant (f/m/d)

Main responsibilities:

• Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
• Contract billing for Development Revenues
• Support the Finance Manager in the monthly closing process, Forecasting and Budget preparation
• Journal Entries and preparation for the Month End closing process
• Calculation and preparation of monthly Finance Accruals
• Ensuring SOX compliance with the internal control system
• Review and update SOX Narratives
• Support the Finance Manager in ensuring compliance with Cham standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
• Leading and Coordinating Internal and External Audit Requirement with the Finance team to ensure deadlines are met

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Accounting/ Finance education, with +3 years’ experience in similar roles ideally in Pharma industry.
• Expertise on G/L, BS, and P&L, with but also good analytical skills to understand numbers.
• Organizational skills are critical, as well as prioritizing work in order to meet timetables and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and ERP systems (JDE).
• A “can-do” attitude to work.
• Knowledge on SOX Compliane / Internal & External Audit is a must.
• Knowledge on US GAAP is an advantage
• Positive and self-motivated attitude
• Fluent in English, Fluent in any other language is a plus
