Quantitative & GenAI Analyst (f/m/d)

Join Axpo’s Financial Risk & Modelling team to drive AI and quantitative tool integration for group-level finance functions. You’ll be the primary liaison for AI initiatives, leveraging advanced GenAI tools to optimize database interactions, cloud services, and risk model integration.

What you will do:

• Serve as the main contact for AI initiatives within the CFO area
• Collaborate closely with Group IT and the GenAI competency center to leverage AI expertise
• Manage cloud service integration and tool availability with Group IT
• Enhance and maintain quantitative tools in partnership with Quant Risk analysts
• Oversee the maintenance of software tools and databases with Group IT
• Implement UX/UI improvements for existing finance tools

What you bring & who you are:

• Academic background in quantitative, finance, or economics fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including prompt engineering and OpenAI integration
• Proficient in Python, SQL, database management, with PowerApps knowledge a plus
• Skilled in cloud technologies (e.g., MS Azure) and Python dashboarding frameworks (Panel, Streamlit, Dash, etc.)
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles for tool optimization
• Proactive communicator with strong time management skills
