The below job description will outline this position of: Project Engineer

Typically, this person will be reviewing and preparing installation procedures and method statements to ensure score of work are correct.

Duties and responsibilities of the Project Engineer:

• Review and preparation of installation procedures and method statements, ensuring scopes of work requirements are satisfied with oversight and assistance from management
• Planning logistics, liaising with clients on technical and operational issues
• Supervision and oversight of project progress both in onshore planning and offshore phases
• Ensuring that all QHSE standards are followed and a safe working environment is in place for operators and technicians
• Travel to offshore vessels for several weeks during installation phases of projects to manage filing of paperwork, report writing among other tasks and to be part of the offshore team completing the works
  
  

Qualifications and requirement for the Project Engineer:

• Qualification in engineering (preferably civil, mechanical or structural engineering)
• Experience in project engineering preferable
• Experience in managing various project related documentation including contracts preferable
• High level of written English and proficient in word and excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing
• Must be proactive and be able to work to own initiative
• Must be available & willing to work offshore
