Within R&D Digital & Tech we are looking for a Product Owner to work in CMC Digital Data and Analytics Tech, with a focus on process modelling (mechanistic and data driven). (S)He is accountable to work together with Senior Product Owner(s) and/or the Product Director(s) to design and deliver the roadmap that will improve the user experience for the product within their domain and support the strategic priorities. Each product owner will work collaboratively with BSO/SMEs, product director’s/senior product owner to agree on priorities within their product space and build plans to deliver against those priorities. It is key for a product owner to be able to adapt the language & terminology used depending on the stakeholder (s)he is interacting with.
As being part of Tech, the product owner is required to be correctly technically skilled and is eager to deep dive into new technologies, platforms, with a particular focus on AI/ML, mechanistic modelling.
The product owner will have ownership and responsibility for a product or a product family depending on the criticality and size. This individual is recognized as one of the single points of contact for their product space, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of their customers and deliver value to GSK. The Product Owner is recognized as the go to leader and trusted advisor for their product, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of their customers and deliver value to GSK.
Product owner activities will include some of the following:
Improve and work on a designed technology strategy by building strong domain knowledge including by understanding the business process, industry best practices, in market solutions to finally grow into the role of trusted advisor,
Demand management: Collaborate with business stakeholders and product director/senior product manager to manage and prioritize the product backlog to produce the product set with the highest business value.
Governance: Establish business value, manage delivery and service performance and manage business risk within the scope of the assigned product domain. Preparing and gathering all documentation for representing the product in governance boards.
Product/Project Delivery: deliver the optimal set of products and services which meets the business strategy and requirements. May complete hands on configuration, providing detailed designs and wider impact assessments. The ability to think big picture and customer first is important.
Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring the defined product domain is compliant with internal security and risk management policies and practices, as well as external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP and that Tech continuity plans are in place for all critical products.
Adoption strategy & change management: in the role of change agent, support both the product teams and the business in agile approaches to solution development and adoption, building excitement, momentum, visible success stories and clear value-based versions of vision as roadmap plans come to life.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Master’s Degree – Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology
Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics, Partial Differential Equations and Ordinary Differential Equations.
Good understanding of Python programming
Strong analytical mindset
Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English (written and oral)
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Working knowledge of AGILE concepts and SCRUM processes
Experience with AZURE, AHA!
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Self-confident/assertive/dynamic/motivated behavior & being able to work on multiple tasks/projects in parallel with supervision
Knowledge and assessment of emerging technical trends
Knowledge of modelling software (Ansys fluent, Openfoam, start CCM+, gProms, Matlab, Sipat)
