To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications. Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join the Technology Procurement team based in Bologna. Role Purpose: You will lead and own the procurement and contractual process for the assigned portfolio of Information & Communication Technology Vendors. The successful candidate will have ownership in driving the procurement process (including the RFI, RFQ and RFP processes) for supply of Hardware, Software and Professional Services related to Information Technology projects and programmes. In addition, you will own the administrative process for contractual agreements drafting as well as assist the business with contract management. You will operate in compliance with the Procurement Policy to minimize the Total Cost of Ownership for the Company and will collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as Project Owners, Budget Owners, Controllers, Account Payable, Legal teams and Third Parties. Some of the essentials for you to know are: Location: our office in Zola Predosa (Bologna) or Milan, depending on candidate preference Reporting into: Category Manager for Technology Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 months) Working Model: Hybrid Potential Start Date: January 2025 Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Receive Purchase Requisition from internal stakeholders, analyse, understand and optimize their needs
- Identify and pursue synergies, technology sharing and economies of scale
- Analyse relevant markets and recommend sourcing strategy for managed projects
- Implement RFI/ RFQ/ RFP processes through YNAP’s online procurement platform
- Optimize Total Cost of Ownership by taking into consideration pricing, payment terms, quality of supply, risk management and competitive advantage for YNAP
- Coordinate contractual documentation drafting and management process (NDAs, SOW, Contracts & Contract Renewals etc). Ensure that Contracts are reviewed by Legal and fully finalized and tracked, in line with Group timelines
- Manage Procurement process in compliance with YNAP’s Code of Conduct, Procurement, Information Security, HSE & Data Privacy Policies.
- Scout for new vendors and promote testing and adoption of technology innovations
- Support vendors portfolio and technology solutions rationalization
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders within IT, Legal, HR etc as well as other key members of the Technology Procurement Team
The type of person we are looking for:
- University degree in Engineering or Business & Administration
- 3-5 years work experience in Procurement and/or Information Technology
- Proficient in both English and Italian languages (Minimum level – C1)
- General understanding of Technology solutions and modern trends
- Understanding of procurement and contractual processes within a Tech environment
- Experience in project based approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Well organised and efficient, able to work simultaneously on different tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Able to build positive relationships with members of the team, key stakeholders and external suppliers
- Pro-active and able to show initiative.
- Focussed and determined to achieving results, within project deadlines
