About the role

Virtual Prototypes are simulation models for a variety of electronic platforms in the automotive, enterprise, telecommunications or cloud market today. Our Virtual Prototyping R&D team enables our customers across those markets to manage the full lifecycle of their software development process, by leveraging an ecosystem of technologies, with Virtual Prototyping at its heart.

If you have experience in cloud native technologies and track record of understanding customer requirements, as well as architecting and developing innovative solutions, we want to hear from you!

This is a hybrid role with 3 days on-site in Aachen per week.

In your new role you will:

• Define and develop the next generation of cloud native Virtual Prototyping solutions
• Drive complex projects, liaising with appropriate stakeholders and customers
• Work alongside industry leading experts with decades of experience in Virtual Prototyping

You are best equipped for this task if you have

• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
• Experience in a software development position
• Strong understanding of cloud and containerization technologies
• Ability to define scalable software solutions based on user requirements
• Excellent programming language skills

Preferred Experience

• Solid C/C++ or Java coding skills
• Strong focus on user interaction
• Knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent networking skills
